Greenwald begins his first season as assistant coach in 2023-24. Greenwald wrestled for Clarion University from 2014 to 2018, graduating with a Bachelors in Marketing and making the Dean's List in each of his seasons with the Golden Eagles. Greenwald was also named the recipient of the Nick Gavazzi Academic Achievement Award for the 2016-17 campaign. His wealth of experience on the mat within the PSAC will be key for the Lakers going forward.

Greenwald began his time as a coach in the spring of 2019 with the Hollywood Hooligans, teaching the youth about wrestling followed by a stint with Somerset Academy. In October 2020, Greenwald made his way to St. Thomas University in Miami, Fl. where he served as a volunteer assistant while owning the title of associate head coach for Fort Lauderdale High School.
