Petteway enters her third season with the Lakers in 2023-24.

Petteway comes to Mercyhurst after serving as the compliance graduate assistant at East Stroudsburg University from August 2020 to May 2021. Petteway was a member of the East Stroudsburg Women's Lacrosse team from 2016 to 2021. She graduated as the NCAA Division Career Leader in minutes play with 4,412:42. She was also a three-time All-American. She holds the East Stroudsburg record for saves with 764. She has coaching experience with Building Blocks Lacrosse during the summer of 2017.
