Madison Phillips steps on as the Mercyhurst Women’s Lacrosse Graduate Assistant in the fall of 2024 following her undergraduate playing career at the University of Indianapolis. She looks to bring her wealth of playing experience to Mercyhurst during the jump to Division I. During her time at UIndy, she was a senior captain, 3-year defensive starter, and a DII National Champion (2022). As a player Phillips recorded 69 ground balls, 49 caused turnovers, and 54 draw controls, starting in 62 games and playing in 71 games.

Phillips was recognized at the conference level, being awarded All-GLVC Second Team (2024) and Honorable Mention (2023). Nationally, she was selected for the IWLCA Senior All-Star Game and achieved a spot on the Academic All-District At-Large Team. Madison Phillips also brings knowledge for off the field business, as she was awarded the Sports Management Major of the Year at UIndy in 2024.
