Dana Webb

Dana Webb is entering her third year as the Assistant Coach to the Mercyhurst Softball program.

Webb, a native of Amherst, New York, is no stranger to the PSAC as she was a member of the Edinboro Fighting Scots from 2005-2009. During her senior season, Webb set school records for batting average (.448), homeruns (17), and RBIs (59). That same year, Webb was honored as being Edinboro’s first Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division II All-American, was named to the Daktronics All-American Softball Team, awarded PSAC West Player of the Year, earned a spot on the Daktronic All-Region First Team and captured NFCA All-Atlantic Region second team honors.

As a second baseman, Webb also captured the NFCA All-Atlantic Region First team accolades in 2007 and 2008. Previously to her senior year, Webb set school records in runs (39), hits (60), doubles (12), and base on balls (19) in a season. Career wise, Webb is currently the leader in homeruns (33), RBIs (135), doubles (34), and games played (160), along with ranking in second in batting average (.370), hits (179), runs (96), and at bats (484), and fourth in stolen bases (30).

Offensively, Webb contributed with just 16 errors throughout her four years as a Fighting Scot. Webb made just three errors in 189 chances her senior season for a .984 fielding percentage.

Webb received her Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education with a minor in Athletic coaching in 2009 from Edinboro University. Webb continued her education and in 2011 graduated with her Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling also at Edinboro. Currently Webb works for the Department of Labor and Industry in the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation.
