Hindman joins Mercyhurst's coaching ranks for the first time prior to the 2023-24 season.

Hindman spent four seasons as a player for the Lakers, doing so from 2020 to 2023. Over the course of that time, she was selected to three All-PSAC West teams, proving to be a cornerstone for Mercyhurst. She batted .327 for her career in 479 at-bats with 37 doubles, 22 home runs, and 107 RBIs. Her best season came in 2021 when she led the team in batting average (.375) while adding in 12 doubles, four home runs, and 28 RBIs to be named to the All-PSAC West First Team.
