2015 - All-PSAC Second Team

2015-16: Participated in 13 tournaments, shooting 28 rounds…tallied 2092 strokes for a total rounds average of 74.7 -- lowest average on the team…shot a season-round-low 70 four times…recorded nine top-5 finishes…placed tied for first twice and has won two tournaments outright in 13 events (won both the Edwin Cottrell Invite and the Gannon Spring Invitational, while tying for first at the 2015 Atlantic/East Region Preview and at the PSAC Championships…was a member of the NCAA Atlantic/East Regional team…was the first golfer in school history to reach the NCAA Championships.

2014-15: Participated in 12-of-14 events…shot the second-lowest score on the team at 75.8 over 25 rounds of play…had ten top ten finishes this season (most on the team)…placed tied for second at the Gannon Invitational October 12-13, shooting a season-low 149…carded a round-low of 70 at the Gannon University Spring Invitational April 18, tying for seventh…one-of-five team members to compete at the NCAA Atlantic/East Regional May 4-6, tying for seventh with a three round score of 225.

Prior To Mercyhurst: Played two seasons at Owens Community College...averaged a 74.9 as a freshman and improved to a 72.2 average during sophomore season...played in the United States Public Links Amateur Championship in 2013.

High School: Played golf, hockey, and soccer at Big Rapids High School...was a four-time All-State First Team selection in golf...averaged 75 strokes, or better, in all four seasons...had two top-15 finishes in AJGA Tournament...won Tour Championship for Adams Junior Tour by posting a 64-74=138 in 2011.

Personal: Born May 23, 1994...majoring in sports business...son of James and Nancy...has three brothers - James, Jr., Ben, and Shane - and one sister, Kaitlyn...sister was a four-year member of the Ferris State golf team...great grandfather was Erie district judge and father was football and baseball standout at Tech Memorial High School in Erie.
