ERIE, Pa. - The Mercyhurst cross country team is set to continue their season at the Louisville Cross Country Classic. After competing at Lock Haven Invite, the Lakers look to put their best foot forward at this week's competition.
Thomas Gaydos lead all Mercyhurst runners with a 17th place finish, with a time of 25:24.90. His top-20 finish led to him receiving NEC Prime Performer honors for the first time this season. Sawyer Bonnett was next in line for the men, placing 42nd overall with a time of 26:08.10.
Rowan Milliron placed the highest amongst all of the women. She placed 68th overall, with a time of 23:50.60. She looks to improve her time this upcoming weekend at the invite. After Milliron, the next Laker to finish for the women was Molly McIntyre. McIntyre placed 90th overall, with a time of 24:12.60.
The Louisville Cross Country Classic is set to begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3. Results from the invitational can be found here.
