Nashville, Tn. - The Mercyhurst Stunt team is set to head back to Nashville as they prepare to play Drury University, Buena Vista University, and Texas Woman's University this weekend. 

Laker Outlook

The Lakers recently fell short on the road in a close game against Tiffin University on Saturday, March 2nd, falling by a score of 11-12. Mercyhurst hopes to take home a win this weekend as they head back into familiar territory at Trojan Field House, where they opened their season at the beginning of February. The Lakers are now 3-6 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference and hold a 4-6 record overall. Mercyhurst ranks 11th in the Nation based on the Division II College Stunt National Advisory Board polls. The Lakers' matchup against Drury University starts at 12:00 PM on Friday, followed by a game against Buena Vista University at 7:00 PM. The competition continues on Saturday as Mercyhurst takes on Texas Woman's University at 8:00 AM. 

Scouting Drury University 

Drury University currently holds a 2-6 record with both wins coming against the University of Texas at Tyler. They most recently fell to Texas Woman's University on Saturday, March 2nd by a score of 7-12. The most recent poll for the Division II College Stunt National Advisory Board ranks Drury 13th in the Nation. 

Scouting Buena Vista University

Buena Vista University has only played four games, all being held last weekend. Their record is 2-2, with two wins coming against Southwest Baptist University, 4-0 and 6-0, and two losses coming against Central Methodist University, 0-15 and 0-13. Coming into the matchup against Mercyhurst, the Beavers rank 6th in the Division III College Stunt National Advisory Board polls. 

Scouting Texas Woman's University 

Texas Woman's University holds a 4-5 record as they enter the weekend. On Saturday, March 2nd, they took a win from Drury University by a score of 12-7, but they also fell to St. Mary's University by a score of 8-13 on the same day. Coming into the weekend, Texas Woman's University ranks 9th in the Division II National polls, according to the College Stunt National Advisory Board.
