Toomer tried to bring the Rock back to life scoring 1:31 into the second half to cut the deficit down to 12-3. However,
Paige Cocina buried one unassisted and Fosco was setup by Cook to make it 14-3 halfway into the period. Slippery Rock ended the game on a 3-0 run as Hayley Pimentel, Katie Dlugosz and Toomer each scored one time in the final ten minutes to close out the 14-6 win for the Lakers.
