#23 Women's Lacrosse Falls To #14 East Stroudsburg In Atlantic Region Semifinal

WEST CHESTER, Pa. -- The 23rd-ranked Mercyhurst women's lacrosse team fell to 14th-ranked East Stroudsburg, 12-8, in the NCAA Tournament First Round on Friday at Atlantic Regional host West Chester.

  • Julia Rescott was the Lakers' leading goal-scorer, totaling three goals and one assist.
  • Leading point-getter Lacey Netti finished with two goals and three assists.
  • Angelina Simon, Paige Cocina and Emma Hubert added goals.
  • Brenna Fosco made one assist.
  • Kira Kolb controlled four draws while Diana Schmitt totaled four caused turnovers and four groundballs. Mackenzie Murphy also had four GBs.
