#17 Women's Lacrosse Closes Season With Win At Lock Haven

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -- Taylor Izzo led all point-getters with two goals and three assists as the 17th-ranked Mercyhurst women's lacrosse team closed its regular season with a 10-5 victory over Lock Haven in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action on Saturday.

Kristin Anderson and Janelle Williams added two goals apiece for the Lakers while Carly Zimmerman, Lacey Netti, Morgan Parker and Angelina Simon finished with goal apiece.

Anderson also had four draw controls. Zimmerman dished two assists and Lacey Netti made one assist.

In goal, Gabby Gravino earned the win with eight saves.

The Lakers scored the game's first six goals and that was enough as MU led the rest of the way.

Rachel Engler scored two goals to lead LHU. Hannah Houde stopped six shots.

Mercyhurst will return to action on Tuesday when it welcomes Lock Haven to Tullio Field for a 4 p.m. PSAC Tournament game.
