The Mercyhurst men's water polo team heads to downtown Erie to play in the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division II Championships hosted by Gannon Oct. 14-15.
 
Mercyhurst will be one of four teams in the tournament, the others begin Gannon, Salem International, and first-time participant McKendree. The Lakers are the defending D2 Championship winners after winning the tournament according to goal-differential a season ago.
