Mike Fraley

Mike Fraley enters his 30th season as head coach of the Mercyhurst University men’s cross country team. Over the years, his teams have been competitive in their conferences (GLIAC, PSAC) and have consistently excelled in the classroom.

In 2018, his team competed in the NCAA Regional Championship finishing 16th.  Benjamin Barnes and Danny Dmuchowski both recorded finishing times in the Top-50.

Fraley continues to exhibit a great deal of enthusiasm and dedication to the program and he himself has competed in such events as the Boston Marathon.

Fraley received his bachelor of arts degree in mental health counseling from Gannon University and has been employed in the field of social services for over 20 years. Fraley also has considerable experience in developing youth activities and comprehensive guidance programs.

His wife, Kathy, directs the Mercyhurst women's program.
