Andrew Welton is honored as the Mercyhurst male athlete of the week after his performance in the Super Region One Tournament on Friday and Saturday. Welton was the sole champion for the Lakers as he defeated Notre Dame's Kameron Teacher 6-3 in the finals. This is the fourth time Welton will make the trip to nationals.
