Derek Barach is honored as the Mercyhurst male athlete of the week, due his efforts on the ice for the hockey team.

Barach earned two goals, three assists, and five points in the teams weekend of competition in Robert Morris.

Barach earned one goal and two assists in a 7-4 victory on Friday night, and an assist in a 3-2 overtime loss on Saturday.
