Mercyhurst University Athletics

Francis Mizia has been named the Mercyhurst male athlete of the week for his prowess on the mat during the PSAC Championship match Saturday night. 

No.1 Mizia defeated returning national champion No. 2 Tyler Reinhart 8-6. Mizia was trailing 5-3 in the third period but earned an escape, a takedown and two back points to gain the edge over Reinhart. This is the second time this season that Mizia has defeated Reinhart in head to head compeition.
