Andrew Welton is recognized as the Mercyhurst male athlete of the week for earning the Lakers their 20-19 dual meet victory over Kutztown on Friday night. Welton earned a fall bringing the trailing Lakers, to a 19-19 tie. Through tie-breaking criteria the Lakers were declared the winners for having more six-point victories, with their only six-point victory being Welton's pin.
