Mercyhurst men's lacrosse sophomore Greg Weyl recorded one goal, six caused turnovers and seven groundballs as the 10th-ranked Lakers defeated third-ranked Tampa, 11-5, in a non-conference contest on Saturday.

Mercyhurst held the visiting Spartans to their lowest goal output of the season.
