Mercyhurst men's ice hockey freshman Derek Barach totaled four points during the Lakers' two-game weekend sweep of American International. He had three goals and one assist while finishing with a +1 rating.

Barach had a goal and an assist during Mercyhurst's 3-1 win on Jan. 29. His power-play score also served as the game-winner. Then, on Jan. 30, Barach tallied two goals in a 5-3 victory.
