Best scored three of Mercyhurst's six goals in a two-game weekend sweep at conference-rival Bentley on Friday and Saturday. It marked the first time since 2006 that Mercyhurst swept a two-game series in Massachusetts against the Falcons. He recorded his first collegiate multiple-goal game in Friday's 3-1 victory. He scored Mercyhurst's first goal and then scored an empty-netter to seal the win. He then scored Mercyhurst's first goal in Saturday's 3-2 victory. He finished the weekend with three goals on seven shots, was a +3, and blocked one shot. In three games this season, Best has four goals and one assist for five points.
