Takac played an integral role in the Mercyhurst field hockey team winning both of its matches during the week, including a 2-1 overtime victory at #4 Shippensburg on Saturday. Takac played 38:15 against IUP on Wednesday and stopped both shots she faced before exiting. Then, in Saturday's upset win at Shippensburg, Takac posted 13 saves and allowed only one goal in 84:56 of action. Her biggest save came on a penalty stroke nearly 11 minutes into overtime. Mercyhurst scored just over four minutes later to earn the win. Takac is now 5-7 with a 1.87 goals against average this season.
