Sophomore Mary Jaskowak started her 2015 season off on the right foot by winning the individual crown at the Fredonia State Invitational. It was her first collegiate victory. She crossed the finished line in 19:37.3 - more than 12 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher. It was her third-fastest time since joining the Lakers' squad last season. Mercyhurst started the season by finishing second overall in the team standings.
