Gaelin Carrig placed tied for third at the Mercyhurst Spring Invitational Saturday and went on to win the Gannon Spring Invitational Sunday-Monday. The Buffalo, N.Y. native shot rounds of 81-76-37 (37=nine holes). On Saturday, the senior shot a round of 81, placing her tied for third, while she finished the weekend shooting a combined score of 113 in the Gannon Spring Invite at the Lake Shore Country Club. Both of the top five finishes were her first of the spring.
