Starting his first-ever postseason contests at the collegiate level, freshman Brandon Wildung stopped 100-of-106 shots in a two games to one series win at Bentley in the Atlantic Hockey Quarterfinals last weekend. In Friday's game one victory, Wildung posted his first collegiate shutout - a 40-save performance - as the Lakers' won 1-0 in overtime. He then stopped 35-of-37 Bentley shots in Sunday's decisive game three victory over the Falcons to help the Lakers advance to the semifinal round this weekend in Rochester. In his first season, Wildung is 10-9-3 with a 2.48 goals against average and a .923 save percentage.
