Bortoluzzi climbed into the national rankings for the first time in his career after claiming the sixth spot in the country at 165 pounds when the poll was announced late last week. He responded to the ranking with a 14-4 major decision victory over Lake Erie College's Alec Mills on Saturday to help the Lakers extend their winning streak to 17 consecutive matches. Bortoluzzi is 13-4 on the season and a perfect 5-0 in dual action in his first season as a main starter.
