Baich led the women's tennis team to an NCAA opening round victory over West Liberty by coming from behind to win her singles match in three sets. With the team score tied at 4-4, advancing in the NCAA tournament came down to Baich's match. After losing the first set, the freshman won the final two sets over Emily Dawson for the clincher. Baich also teamed up with Courtney Thompson for a 9-7 win in doubles. The Lakers ended their season with a second-round loss to 12th-ranked California.
