Senior Megan Smith led the team with a .357 batting average throughout the past week for the Lakers softball program.  Smith, a native of Hamburg, N.Y., went 5-for14 at the plate, drove in 6 RBIs and crossed the dish four different times.  Of the five hits, one was a double and two were homeruns.  Smith also tallied a career-high five RBIs in a contest against Clarion on April 11.  This season Smith is third on the team in batting average (.346) in 78 appearence at the plate, leads the squad in homeruns (4), and has crossed the plate a team-lead 18 times.
