Jeremy Landowski wrestled his way through the 149-pound bracket to earn the NCAA Division II Super Region I Championship in that weight class on Sunday afternoon. Landowski won two matches on Saturday to set up a rematch with his cousin, Cole Landowski of Pitt-Johnstown, in the semifinals on Sunday. The redshirt sophomore advanced to the championship with a 5-1 decision and then held off Notre Dame's Andrew Bannister in the finals to win his first regional title. The Lower Burrell, Pa., native has won 18 consecutive matches entering NCAA Tournament action in two weeks. He will take a 22-4 overall record to the NCAA Tournament in two weeks.
