Nagtzaam scored three goals and added an assist in a two-game sweep by the Lakers at RIT over the weekend. It marked the first time in program history that the Lakers swept a weekend series against the Tigers in Rochester. Nagtzaam scored a goal in Friday’s 6-3 win and then scored two goals and an assist in Saturday’s 6-2 victory over the Tigers. His two goals tied a career-high (first time since January 6, 2012) and his three points tied his season-high and tied his career-high. He finished the weekend with a +3 rating and scored the game’s first goal on Saturday night. In just 16 games this season, Nagtzaam has seven goals and eight assists for 15 points.
