Redshirt sophomore Brian Beattie went 2-0 for the Laker wrestling team during the week, helping the Lakers extend its winning streak to a program-record 10 consecutive victories. Beattie earned a technical fall victory over Gannon's Trevor Beiter in Mercyhurst's 33-6 win over its crosstown-rival. He then won by fall against Findlay's Gerald Beck 1:57 into the match on Saturday to help Mercyhurst to a 42-3 victory. He earned 11 of a possible 12 points in his two wins during the week.
