Sarjeant got back into the win column over the weekend with a pair of brilliant performances in a weekend sweep at Army. He stopped 32-of-33 shots in the Lakers’ 3-1 win on Friday and then stopped 28-of-29 shots in the squad’s 3-1 win on Saturday. Sarjeant’s performance helped Mercyhurst earn its first weekend sweep in West Point since February 13-14, 2004. All told, Sarjeant had a 1.00 goals against average and a .968 save percentage with 60 saves on 62 shots. He improved to 11-4-2 overall and remained unbeaten in conference play (9-0-1). He lowered his season’s goals against average to 2.58 and upped his save percentage to .922. In conference play, his numbers are staggering – 9-0-1 with a 1.89 goals against average and a .942 save percentage.
