Blair Pembleton scored three times in two weekend victories for the Lakers. Against Limestone on Friday, the junior scored two goals as Mercyhurst won its first game of the season. On Sunday, Pembleton made a steal and blasted a shot past the East Stroudsburg goalkeeper in the 49th minute, putting the Lakers ahead for good. It was Mercyhurst's first-ever win over ESU and its first victory over a ranked opponent since 2009. Pembleton has scored in all three contests in 2013 and leads Mercyhurst with eight points.
