D'Urso, who claimed the top spot at 133 pounds in the Super Region I rankings on Monday morning, improved to 26-3 overall and 16-1 in dual competition with a perfect 4-0 week. D'Urso helped Mercyhurst earn the inaugural PSAC Division II Dual Championship with a 26-9 win over Gannon on Wednesday night. D'Urso, ranked third, at the time, in Super Region One, earned an 8-2 upset over the then top-ranked wrestler in the region and No. 7 in all of D-II, Jose Matos. D'Urso then rattled off three victories at the Lake Erie Quad Meet, helping the Lakers earn a victory over King College (20-15) and then an upset win over #7 Findlay (18-16). D'Urso defeated Collin Crume of King 6-0 and Nick Goebel of Findlay 2-1. He also earned a pin this week against Lake Erie College's Austin Gillihan in 4:08. Across all four bouts this week, D'Urso gave up just three points.
