D'Urso helped Mercyhurst go 4-1 at the East Coast Duals by posting a 4-0 record. He earned his third win by fall of the season against Dontae Brown of UNC-Pembroke and then picked up two technical falls in wins over Zachary Hale of Anderson and Markus Almeida of Belmont Abbey, giving him a team-leading 10 technical falls on the season. His final win came against two-time All-American, Michael Magaha of Limestone. D'Urso is 21-3 on the season as a true freshman
