Schaefer improved to 15-3 on the season with his two wins. He earned a major decision over James Shields at Millersville (13-0) and then pinned the #2 wrestler in Super Region 1 - Robert Schievert of Shippensburg at the 2:40 mark of the match. Of his 15 victories, three have been by fall, four by major decision, and three by technical fall. He improved to 5-1 in dual meets this season. Mercyhurst improved to 6-0 on the season and 3-0 in the PSAC with the victories at Millersville and Shippensburg.
