Woods had easily the best game of his young career on Saturday against East Stroudsburg, helping the Lakers to a 52-45 victory. Woods established career-highs in receptions (9), receiving yards (215), and receving touchdowns (3) in the victory. His 215 receiving yards was just 20 yards shy of the school record and his three touchdowns fell one short of the Laker record. Woods accounted for 20 points on the afternoon - also catching a two-point conversion in the third quarter. He then came up with his biggest reception of the day - a 20-yard catch on 3rd-and-18 with just over two minutes left, keeping Mercyhurst's game-winning touchdown drive alive.
