Becky Smith helped the Laker volleyball team split two matches last weekend to close the regular season. On November 9, Smith totaled 16 kills in a five-game win at IUP. She hit .389 in the match, adding an ace and three blocks in the victory. The win gave Mercyhurst 25 for the season, the most by the program since the 1993 season. Smith and the Lakers will travel to Gannon on Tuesday, November 13, for a first-round PSAC Tournament match.
