Janiga, a freshman from East Aurora, New York, earned the College Hockey America's Freshman of the Week award after scoring one goal and adding five assists in a weekend sweep of Providence. She had two assists in Friday's 6-3 win then added a goal and three assists in Saturday's 5-0 blanking of the Friars. She is second on the team with 13 points this season.
