In singles action, Bristol advanced all the way to the semifinals of the PSAC Singles/Doubles Tournament this past weekend. The women's singles bracket started with 30 participants, but Bristol was one of four players left at the start of action on Sunday. Bristol made quick work of her first round opponent, Clarion's Megan Bettwy, winning in straight sets, 6-0 and 6-1 then defeated Bloomsburg's Erin Reitenauer, 6-0 and 6-0, and followed with a minor upset over third-seeded Tanya Timko of Indiana (Pa.), 7-5 and 6-0. She lost in the semis to eventual champion Lucie Sipkova 6-3 and 6-1. She also won a first round doubles match with Sarah Baich before losing in the quarterfinals.
