Steadman scored five of Mercyhurst’s six goals over the weekend in a split with conference-rival Robert Morris. On Friday, Steadman scored all four goals in the Lakers’ 4-2 win at Robert Morris. Three of Steadman’s four goals were on the power play, giving her 10 power play goals on the season, tying her with Bailey Bram for the team and the national lead. It was Steadman’s third hat trick of the season and her second four-goal game of the year. In Saturday’s 3-2 loss to the Colonials, Steadman scored near the midway mark of the third period, giving the Lakers, at that point, a 2-1 advantage. Her five goals over the weekend gives her 26 goals on the season, which not only takes over the team lead, but takes over the national lead as well.
