Misiak entered the weekend with just one goal in his first 18 games, but scored a goal in each game against Alabama-Huntsville in a pair of Laker victories. Misiak had one goal in Friday's 5-1 win over the Chargers, scoring his first career power play goal late in the second period that put Mercyhurst ahead by two. He then had a goal and an assist in Saturday's 4-3 win at UAH, scoring his second game-winning goal of the season at the 3:43 mark of the third period, snapping a 3-3 tie. His multi-point effort on Saturday was just the second of his career. He had five shots on goal and was a +2 over the weekend. He has three goals and eight assists on the season.
