Jones, a senior from Picton, Ontario, accounted for three goals and two assists against #3 Cornell over the weekend. In Friday's 5-4 loss to the Big Red, Jones scored a first period goal at the 6:20 mark, which at the time gave Mercyhurst a 2-0 advantage. She then picked up an assist on a power play goal early in the third period that tied the game at 4-4. On Saturday, Jones scored two goals and an assist as the Lakers knocked off Cornell 5-2. Jones assisted on the game-winning power play goal just past the midway mark of the second period, and then scored on a breakaway 46 seconds later. She sealed the game with an empty-net power play goal in the third. Jones was named the CHA Player of the Week on Monday.
