Becky Smith totaled 27 kills in two matches last week, as the Lakers lost close contests to local rivals Edinboro and Gannon November 4-5. She hit .500 in a four-set loss at Gannon Saturday, compiling 17 kills and two aces. Against Edinboro Friday, Smith had 10 kills and two aces. She led the Lakers with a .322 hitting percentage in 2011.
