Luehmann scored six goals in the men's water polo team's victory over Notre Dame College Saturday, helping the Lakers win the CWPA Eastern Championship. Luehmann, a junior, recorded the game-winning goal with six second left to give Mercyhurst a 13-12 win. He also had two assists. The Lakers won the Eastern title and will now move onto the Southern Championships November 4-6 at Princeton. Luehmann was named to the All-Tournament team for his efforts. He leads Mercyhurst with 46 goals in 2011.
