Mercyhurst running back Garrett Owens totaled 304 yards and three touchdowns on offense as the Laker football team defeated cross-town rival Gannon, 38-21, in a PSAC West matchup at McConnell Family Stadium on Saturday.

Owens had 21 carries for 268 yards and also recorded three receptions for 36 yards. He also ran back four kickoffs for 115 yards to increase his all-purpose output to 419 yards.
