Owen, a junior, had a monster week, as he led the men’s water polo team to a 4-0 weekend. At crosstown rival Gannon September 30, Owen scored a school-record 10 goals to help the Lakers win 14-11. He also tallied six steals and an assist. For the weekend, Owen scored a total of 13 goals, grabbed eight steals and dished out two assists. In 2011, Owen is now tied for the team lead with 34 goals. He also leads the Lakers with 17 drawn ejections.
