Mercyhurst senior catcher/outfielder Drew Delsignore was named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West Division Athlete of the Week for his performance during the final week of the regular season April 30-May 6.
 
Delsignore had a monster series against Pitt Johnstown, finishing 10-for-14 with two home runs, two doubles, 8 runs scored, and seven runs batted in. He also walked twice.
 
Delsignore ended up scoring or driving in 15 of the Lakers 32 runs in four games. He also came up with a clutch go-ahead, three-run home run in Saturday's first game to give the Lakers a 6-3 win.
 
Delsignore is the second Lakers' hitter to win Athlete of the Week, following Daniel Elliott's award on April 23. He is the fifth Lakers player overall to win a player of the week award, with pitchers Chris Vallimont, Russell Lamovec, and Tyler Garbee also winning weekly honors.
