Maddie Nye had a big weekend at the Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) Championships in La Jolla, Calif. After picking up an assist in the first game, Nye scored seven goals in Mercyhurst's next two games to help the Lakers to a sixth-place finish. The Naplolean, Ohio native led the Lakers with 16 shot attempts over the weekend.
