Mercyhurst senior baseball player Daniel Elliott was named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West Division Athlete of the Week for his performance between April 16-22.
 
The slugging first baseman had a productive week at the plate, finishing with seven hits in 17 at-bats (.412) in five starts. Two of his hits were home runs and he drove in nine runs while scoring eight times.
 
The Willoughby, Ohio native is now tied for the home-run lead in the PSAC with 10 round trippers. He also ranks second in the conference with 45 RBI.
