Doug Altavilla was key in leading the Mercyhurst football team to a 24-22 win against Gannon in last Saturday's homecoming game to clinch the Niagara Cup for the Lakers. Altavilla completed 16-of-26 pass attempts for a total of 305 yards and one touchdown while adding one rushing touchdown.
